International Construction Challenge Results Our team came in at 29 out of 51 teams. While we did not "win", our kids did a fantastic job in all three areas. Our kids competed against technical trade school, magnet school and polytech schools. All 6 students were drama or fine arts based and studied very hard to make up for what they did not know mechanics wise.
Everyone of the students on the team so impressed Genie Industries top dogs that they each received internship offers if the kids were interested after college.
Also, out of 4 hundred photos submitted by team managers, Wylie won 2nd and 3rd place in that competition. Yea! The photo of Jonathan Moore (shown above) won 2nd and one of Caitlin Morris and Randall Fowler won 3rd.
The students also did a fantastic job with Mike Rowe from Discovery Channel's Dirty Jobs.
