Attendance: A convenient calendar allows parents to review
absences at a glance. A click on the day of the absence provides details.
This attendance option tells parents/guardians where students were or
weren't. The schedule preview tells parents where their children should be
Food Service Facts: Parents /guardians can track how their child's food money is being spent. The option for weekly overviews helps families manage their expenses. This food service overview lets you know your current balance. Discipline Issues: If a discipline issue arises, this allows parents to facilitate informed discussion with their children. Family Access provides information on the offenses and the action taken. Clicking on the discipline contacts name will open up an email window for any communication you wish to have. Grades by Class: Class lists and grades are located in one easy to find location. Quarterly reports and progress reports can be viewed. Conveniently Contact your child's teachers: Beginning in the fall of 2003, direct e-mail links will be available to each of your child's teachers. A simple click on the teacher's name (when viewing your child's schedule or grades), will open up an email window to that teacher. While not a substitute for a conference, a quick question can be asked or information provided to your child's teacher. Easy to Update Family and Emergency Information: Student and emergency information can be kept accurate. Parents can view existing info and contact the school with timely corrections. Security: Logins and Passwords assure that only parents and guardians have access to information. Please maintain that security by not sharing password information.

1. How
do I get my password? To insure security
you will need to request a password from the school. This can be done by
simply completing the application form and sending it back to school.
(address on the form). Within 7-10 days you should receive a user name and
password along with a detailed set of instructions regarding the use of
Family Access. You will then be able to click the Family Access link (on
the preceding page), enter your user name and password.
You may click on the following link to open up an application. Print it out and complete it and mail it back to the school. 2. Why can't I access the Lunch Program information? If you are able to get everything except the lunch information, then the account has not been set up for the person whom you designated as the lunch service payer. The payer must request the password and sign the application form. If both parents or guardians wish to share the same account and both have signed the application then the account you will be given will be that of the person you designated as the food service payer. The fix - have the food service payer fill out and sign the application and we will provide you with the correct account that has those permissions. 3. What if I have a user name and password but I cannot get into the system? Go back to the district web site's home page www.wylie.esc14.net. Click on the Family Access icon and re-enter the login and password. Passwords are not case sensitive. If all fails, email support at jlight@wylie.esc14.net or call at 692-4353 #1005 for assistance. 4. How can I insure no one can get information on my child? Security is a combination of the login and password. DO NOT SHARE THIS WITH ANYONE - EVEN YOUR CHILDREN. If you need a password changed, contact the school at 692-4353 #1005. 5. Is the information on this site up to date? Most information is current -even class by class attendance. However there may be times when some information is not posted yet or needs to be modified. |
